Interns Have Arrived!!

This past Thursday evening was the kick off dinner for our summer crew.  I am really excited about the season ahead of us. There are a total of nine interns, three girls and six guys. It is refreshing to have the new energy on the farm and I look forward the many things that we will be able to accomplish with the added help. 

Friday was the first full day of work and we processed over six hundred chickens in three hours! Saturday morning I was able to have an orientation time and take the interns up the mountain and talk about the water systems and point out the pig pastures.

I'll try to keep some updates coming during the next couple of weeks to share how the summer is going!
